Brunnera Frost King
This is like a more improved Alexander’s Great. It has a height of 14-16” and a width of 24-26”. It’s a shade lover so plant in full shade or morning sun. Bees love the little blue flowers and pop up early springtime, but throughout the year it has cool silver textured foliage. Its deer and rabbit resistant and is frost resistant too.
Dianthus Early Bird Sherbet
This is a great early bloomer plant. We are told it starts flowering in March. The flowers are a vibrant fuchsia pink and they are fragrant too so they are perfect for a cut flower garden. The flowers are a carnation flower and the contrast between their blue green foliage is wonderful. With a height of 6” and a width of 8-12”, this is perfect for the front of the flower bed or even a container. It also loves sunshine.
Helianthus Autumn Gold
This is a tough plant that blooms in the fall. Barry had it right by his mailbox and it did wonderful. It’s a sun lover. Bees, butterflies, birds, and hummingbirds love it. Deer and rabbits do not. With a height of 24-26” tall and a width of 20-24”.
Hellebore North Star Crystalline
Another name for these plants are Lenten Roses because they are a early spring bloomer. This plant looks super cool. With a pure white double flower, its looks so ruffle. It loves the shade and is deer resistant. It has a height of 13” and a width of 17”
Hosta Blue Ivory
This is a wow hosta, one you will make you stop and stare from across the garden. It has a height of 16” and a width of 30”. It is a slow grower so it might take some time for the plant to get that full width, just be patient. Plant is full shade or morning sun. Butterflies and hummingbirds love the flowers in early summer.
Iberious Snowsation
This has sooo many flowers when it blooms; it’s like a carpet of white. It’s a creeping, low growing plant with a height of 6-8” and a width of 10-12”. It’s a sun lover and will bloom mid to late spring.
Perovskia Lacey Blue
Another name for this plant is Russian Sage. It’s a sun lover with a height of 12-24” and a width of 24-36”. Its drought, deer, and rabbit resistant. It has pretty blue flowers that hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies love.
Veronica Sea Side
This is a wow plant! It’s a taller veronica with a height of 24” and a width of 28”. It blooms all summer long with the help of deadheading. The flowers are long , fragrant, soft periwinkle but don’t worry they won’t droop because they have such a sturdy stalk. They are deer and heat resistant. Hummingbirds and Butterflies love this one too.
Verbascum Dark Eyes
This one is just cool! We have had it in our trial garden for a few years now and its become one of Ashley’s favorites. It has Large creamy yellow flowers on a cone like stalk. They are striking and beautiful. It’s a sun loves and it’s a shorty too. With a height of 8-12” and a width of 10”, its deer and rabbit resistant, and hot dry site tolerant too. This long bloomer is great for cut flowers and Butterflies and hummingbirds love them too.

If you love pink this plant is for you! This sun loving plant has vivid bubblegum pink flowers that will rebloom without deadheading. It has a eight of 8-10” and a width of 10”. Its deer and rabbit resistant and disease tolerant too
